Erin Decker has worked in nonprofit arts + culture fundraising for over a decade. She is currently the Vice President, Development at The New Children’s Museum in Downtown San Diego. Most recently, she held the position of Senior Associate Director of Development at the Tony Award-winning La Jolla Playhouse. She also held several positions at the nation’s busiest performing arts center, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. These included Marketing and Sales; Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations for the National Symphony Orchestra; and Major Gifts, where she stewarded the Presidentially-appointed Kennedy Center Board of Trustees. Ms. Decker serves on the Steering Committee of the San Diego Regional Arts and Culture Coalition and enjoys active membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Americans for the Arts, Escondido Charitable Foundation, North County Arts Network, and North County Philanthropy Council. She is the Past-Chair of Rising Arts Leaders San Diego. Ms. Decker received her B.A. from UCLA, where she studied International Economics and Spanish.
